CODE RED

(writer & director)

What's a girl to do when she gets an unwelcome visit from Aunt Flo? A self-conscious teenager uses technology to combat the stigma around menstruation. Inspired by a real-life story.

Funded by Google and supported by the Panavision New Filmmaker Program, Code Red stars Elle Winter (Disney's Next Big Thing) and Kylee Russell (Disney's Zombies). It premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival in the UK and Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival in the US.

PORCUPINE

(director)

W. Earl Brown (Deadwood, Wild, There's Something About Mary) stars in Porcupine, a film set in 1970s Nashville. Brown plays a gruff country music legend who's paid a heavy price for his fame. The film deals with classic country themes of heartbreak, family fracture and forgiveness. With an original guitar score by a Grammy-winning composer, Porcupine is a love letter to country music and the troubled geniuses who created it.

Porcupine premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival, and went on to screen at film festivals across the US and internationally.

113 DEGREES

(writer & director)

Francesca and Joe are astronauts who've become lovers. Bunkered up in their little spaceship, Earth is a distant reality: everything they want is right here. But now their mission is ending, and Joe's wife is waiting for him back home. Thinking she's going to lose him, Francesca takes desperate measures, leading to unintended and tragic consequences.

113 Degrees screened at film festivals across the globe — from the world’s premiere genre film festival, the Fantasia Film Festival, to one of its oldest, the Moscow Film Festival. It’s currently streaming on the movie subscription site Fandor as part of a curated showcase of American Film Institute Conservatory films.
